You can map forms on your website with our v3 Tracking Script.  If you need help with setting up your tracking script, you can check out our dedicated article on this .

You will need to head to the website management section of the platform:

Then click on your site, open up the Forms section and then click Add:

And then you will want to click External Form;

Form Configuration

You will then be prompted to fill out the details of your form:

Give your form a name:

Use a name that you can easily recognise in the future.

Specify how to find your form:

In this section you will need to paste the URL of the form you wish to capture. The platform will then scan the page and find all the forms on the page. You can then select which form you wish to capture.

Please select the marketing list you would like your contacts to be added to:

Here you can select multiple marketing lists you wish the contact to be added to when submitting this form.

Who should receive your submission notifications?

An email address that will receive a message every time someone submits this form.

Include User Info On Form Post:

If 'yes' is selected and the user is a known contacted (already has a cookie set) any information submitted on the form will update that contact's information within the platform.

Enable Auto Id:

Upon submitting the form the user will be tracked and web activity sent to the platform.

Mapping

Once the previous information has been filled in you can then click the Mapping  button. You will then be asked if you wish us to detect your forms fields.

If you select 'yes' the platform will automatically collect these fields as options to map to appropriate standard or Contact extension fields within the platform. If you select 'no' you will have to add the form names manually.

You will then be shown several fields (depending on how many are in your form) that are available to map.

Click the plus icon in the Mapping > Form Field section and select each field you wish to map and then select the appropriate field in the 'Force24 Field' section.

If you have any fields that you do not wish to map, you can ignore them all by clicking ignore all, or by individually clicking on the three dots next to each field and selecting ignore:

Now all the fields are mapped or set to ignore, you can complete the mapping process and press Create.

You will then need to push changes in order for the form to appear on your website:

Changes must be pushed every time you update the mapping for the form or whenever any changes are made such as adding a pop up.

You will also notice on this page your mapped form is added to the Forms section where you can see it's submissions or edit it's configuration. It is also a good idea to do a test submission of this form to check everything has been set correctly.
